At the heart of each pair is a triple-layer insole that maximizes comfort, featuring a 40-70D memory foam footbed that rebounds with every step to help relieve foot stress, a support foam that adds firmness, and an anti-shock EVA layer.

Our entire team, from product design to customer support, is still firmly rooted in West Hollywood, just 10 miles down Santa Monica Boulevard, where it all started over 20 years ago as a shoe repair shop resoling hiking boots for locals. Inspired by the bright hues and laidback vibes of our beachtown, we began making slippers to comfort the trail-wearied feet of our customers.

Today, RockDove continues this legacy of creating footwear as if for the most exhausted, adventure-wearied feet, but with the understanding that adventure manifests differently for everyone, every single day. We make slippers so that anyone who's on their feet all day - teachers, chefs, nurses, cashiers, traffic cops, postal workers, and more - can count on switching into the world's most comfortable slippers once they get home.

Every RockDove slipper design is fit tested prior to production, ensuring a true-to-size fit for American customers who don't want to risk the sizing inconsistencies of foreign brands. Featuring synthetic uppers (unless stated otherwise) and either rubber or EVA soles, our slippers are machine washable for long-lasting freshness. Simply throw them in the wash on a gentle cycle and air or line dry.

Our story began with five birdwatchers of the Los Angeles Audubon Society who, as our long-time customers, asked us to create quality indoor shoes to console their high-mileage, trail-weary feet. This sparked our mission to turn the slipper into something that's not only comfortable to wear, but also up to date with both modern living and cutting-edge shoemaking.
